Named after our friend and neighbor, Brenda Gardner—Lawrenceburg, Kentucky’s “queen of the arts” and a community leader—this variety is, unlike Brenda herself, a late-bloomer that flowers later than most of our doubles. These vibrant, silky-smooth blooms resemble brilliant cantaloupe and orange flames. The blossoms are primarily hose-in-hose in form, though some are petaloid. Unmistakably beautiful, repeat blooms.
