The color of this daylily is carmine red, outlined in tiny white-gold ruffles. An early morning opener, its form is widespread, flattening at the yellow-to-green throat. A heavy bloomer, it reblooms three times in zone 6. Named for a wonderful man, a beloved member of the Richmond Area Daylily Society and Region 3 of the American Daylily Society. The founder of SERENITY GARDENS, David loved daylily people, their daylilies, and gardens equally. His generosity was boundless.
