Some visitors to our garden are now lifelong friends. When Gwendol Bowling first visited us in the nineteen-eighties, charmed, we hoped that someday she would lend her name to one of our daylilies. This coral pink beauty is notable for its distinct double form and deeply beveled midribs on all segments. The hallmarks of the flower are its clear sunfast color and substance, as well as its exciting peony and hose-in-hose form. The texture is smooth, and the substance is wax-like. It is a reliable rebloomer with fertile pollen.
