It is fairly unusual to find large, near to "true", solid colored red daylilies (selfs). 'Jealousy' stands out with the intensity and depth and saturation of its red purity of color and small yellow to green throat. Sometimes the blooms seem to have the added depth of a blue overlay. The form is full, with wide, ruffled, overlapping segments. The flowers tend to be quite flat and widespread early, but segments recurve a bit in mid-July. One of our latest to bloom reds; strongly recurrent.
