The elaborately ruffled, sparkling gold edges add depth and drama as the petals sweep back to reveal the significant, outstretched petaloid segments. The texture is smooth, and diamond dusted. Decades of hybridizing large cream and near-white doubles have unfolded before we could offer a line of dormant, double tetraploid with easy fertility of both pod and pollen.
