The base color is violet, highlighted by a prominent lavender watermark eye and throat pattern. The green throat begins in yellow and gradually blends into the watermark. The flower is narrow, exotic, unusual, widely spreading, slightly recurved, and finished with gently curled sepals. This daylily is named for our special friend, great chef, gardener, and daylily connoisseur, Dianne Gross.
