"Omotenashi" is the Japanese art of refined courtesy, hospitality, and manners. The well-behaved ‘Omotenashi’ daylily is saturated purple with touches of white on the petaloid segments. 'Omotenashi’ begins its bloom cycle as a deep-purple self. As the season progresses, the petaloid segments display silvery-white filigree, and teeth sometimes appear. The plants are carefree, and their scapes appear three times in our Zone 6 garden. Totally perfect! Absolutely purple.
