Words cannot describe the impact of this tall , bright, glowing red ! Its nickname in the garden was “Perfect Blue Red.” The registration states the color as primary red with a blue-black velvet pile and chartreuse throat. The form is full and widespread. The petals are over three and a half inches wide and the sepals are over two inches. The throat is a small, yellow-to-green and the looping ruffles have a whitish pencil edge.
