'Thornfield' is named for the handsome 1999 Canadian Horse-of-the-year champion, chestnut gelding. 'Thornfield' is a cider orange color with a deeper reddish-orange eyezone and a wide yellow-to-green throat. It has a double edge of reddish-orange, outlined with gold thorns, teeth, tendrils, and other shapes. The form is full and consistently double. It is a reliable rebloomer and is fertile both ways.
